Creating Consent Culture Classroom Contest

be part of the conversation on consent PEI school poster Prince Edward Island teachers and students are invited to start a conversation about the topic of consent and organize an activity and submission to the Family Violence Prevention Week 2020 school contest.

Be part of the conversation. What does CONSENT mean to you?

Consent can be a delicate topic for children, youth, parents and teachers alike. However, it is an important subject and one that can be addressed with the help of curriculum resources like the Microphone Project.

Your classroom activity can take any form - artwork, song, poetry, facilitated discussion or another medium of your choice - on the topic of consent.

About the contest

Two prizes will be awarded from a random draw. One prize will be awarded to each of the following grade levels: 7 to 9; and high school.

All submissions will be reviewed by members of the Youth Engagement Working Group of the Premier's Action Committee on Family Violence Prevention.
